Project Overview
Our project reimagines the in-store retail experience through a dynamic display. Guided by the concept of “Shift the Angle”, we drew inspiration from adidas’ brand ethos of performance and innovation, as well as Donovan Mitchell’s on-court identity, known for his explosive quick moves, agility, and unique playstyle.
The structure’s angular form embodies speed, energy, and the unpredictable shifts in direction that define both Mitchell’s game and adidas’ cutting-edge approach to sportswear design. More than just a store, the pop-up was envisioned as an immersive brand experience that connects sport, culture, and storytelling in one space.

UNDERSTAND
Researched footwear broadly, narrowing down to sports footwear by studying brands, categories, and market presence in India through store visits. Identified Adidas as the focus brand after analyzing current releases and retail positioning.

EXPLORE
Explored Adidas’ latest footwear drops, focusing on performance and design language across categories. The Don Issue 7 by Donovan Mitchell emerged as the strongest collaboration direction.

DEVELOP
Translated insights from the Don Issue 7 into a focused Adidas × Don concept. Developed the visual and conceptual direction for the collaboration.
